Mt. Doubt is a solo project, a collective and a band all rolled into one, very odd looking, but somehow functional ‘thing’. In the past few years they have released two albums My Past is a Quiet Beast and In Awe of Nothing, which came out on Scottish Fiction Records.
“A massively distinctive new voice in Scottish Music” – Roddy Hart (BBC Scotland)
“The band build and build into a cascade of noise briefly toying with chaos before snapping back into seriously delicate bridges topped with vocals more fragile than you could expect given the sheer energy you just witnessed”
THIS IS FEAST
“Eerily powerful vocals above stormy instrumentals, the artistic scale of the album induces real excitement.”
Returning to the hall we have Gordon James & the Power who have managed to play Camden Rocks ‘All Dayer’ at The Monarch, headline the Ironwork’s in Inverness, support Toploader at a sold out Lossiemounth Town Hall along with many Festivals including XPO North, Belladrum, Bute, Speyfest, Jocktober, Sruighlea Summer Festival in their time away.
They are a band much in demand.
Making their Elgin debut are local loons Hedswim who describe themselves as “Grunge, drizzled over a punk backbone, garnished with Shazam and Hell Yeah!” – sounds good to me !!!!!
