Event Details

For over 70 years Elgin Amateur Dramatic Society (EADS) has been presenting pieces of theatre for the community. In recent years this has taken the form of presenting a spring play and an annual pantomime. Our pantomimes an event that warms the heart of every age group and is a long-standing tradition that we are proud to be a part of. Our passion for bringing the community together is reinforced by this year’s choice and is written by a member of our society who has brought several very well-received pantos to Elgin Town hall over the last few years.

With the storytelling of Charles Dickens and the fun of pantomime thrown together in one story. ” A Christmas Carol – The Pantomime” is a heartwarming tale from the past injected with songs, dances, jokes and maybe a wee tear and plenty of audience participation. Watch while Bob & Emily Cratchit, and Bob’s sister Dame Belle, try to make the most of their Christmas for the Cratchit children, including the lovable Tiny Tim. The Ghost of Past, Present, and Christmas Yet to Come to make an appearance to take Scrooge on an adventure that will teach him the true meaning and spirit of Christmas, making this the perfect family treat to start your festive season.
